Hi! I'm Sara Cartmell, a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Suffolk, England. Most of the time you'll find me working from my cosy home studio, dog underfoot, listening to a podcast or coffee house soundtrack.

I create unique and beautiful artwork using traditional and digital techniques, including hand-drawing directly into Procreate, painting and flower pressing. I specialise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate. 

 

My artwork is vibrant, bold and uplifting. I draw inspiration from my travels, nature and the world around me.

I love to experiment with new styles, methods and media which I incorporate into my daily practice. I also enjoy attending workshops which are an intergral part of my learning approach.

I'm a total nerd for stationery and home decor, regularly stocking up on velvety cushions, gift wrap, notepads and candles!
